Description/Eligibility/Service Details

Description Dedicated to saving lives and enabling a promising future for individuals living with Marfan Syndrome and other genetic aortic disorders (GADs) through education, awareness, support and research 
 
Focuses on: 
Educating and supporting aortic clinics and those with GADs. 
Advocating genetic testing for those with GADs to save lives. 
Enrolling Canadians with GADs into the Montalcino Aortic Consortium (MAC) Patient Registry; MAC is an international research collaborative of multidisciplinary clinicians collecting patient data to generate gene- and variant-specific risk models for personalized medicine to improve outcomes of individuals with GADs.

To volunteer, please contact the National Office. Volunteers are asked to fill out an application, and go through a screening process to determine the best fit for them within the organization.
Fees Membership - $25/individual; $35/family; $100/corp/500 lifetime ; Donation - Individual and Corporate ; No membership fees. A donation to support our services is much appreciated.
